MATTHEW 5.14-16; ISAIAH 60.1,2

You Are The Light Of The World

Scripture song • Sola Scriptura • 3:33

Track 12 of the album, “By The Word: Love Me – Scripture Song Series”. Performed by Alessandra Sorace. Based on the scripture: Matthew 5:14-16; Isaiah 60:1,2.

The Word behind the song

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. 60 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
